Unlike digital work, a printed catalogue cannot be undone: once the file goes to press, there is no chance to correct it. The work therefore began with structure rather than design — in what order the 18 pages tell their story, and which product falls on which spread.
Page layout was built on a grid system rather than page by page. With heading scale, column width and spacing fixed, the rhythm holds as the catalogue progresses; the gold-and-black contrast is used with restraint inside that same structure.
The delivery was made print-ready: bleed, crop marks, CMYK conversion and resolution checks all completed. The printer needs no further correction, and what is seen on screen comes out the same on paper.
