Meta ads management
On Meta, creative variety decides the outcome more than targeting does; a single image fatigues within days.
The platform's targeting now finds the audience by itself; the variable actually in the advertiser's hands is the content shown. Click-through on an image repeated to the same audience falls quickly and cost rises. Being able to produce new variants continuously therefore does more good than fine-tuning targeting.
Video and static images do different jobs: video suits introduction and explanation, while a static image delivers a clear offer faster. Separating them by purpose, rather than racing them inside one campaign, makes it visible which format works at which stage.
We do not treat creative production as separate from the ad account. Because design and video come from the same team, producing a new variant requires no separate supply chain; when a campaign fatigues it can be refreshed without waiting.
Placements have different aspect ratios. Square works in the feed while Stories and Reels are vertical; forcing one image into all of them either crops key elements or leaves empty bands at the edges. Preparing the same message per placement increases visibility on the same budget.
Audience overlap goes unnoticed in most accounts. When two similarly defined ad sets reach the same people, the account bids against itself and cost rises for no reason. On the copy side the first line decides: far fewer people read what sits beyond the "see more" cut-off point.

Frequently asked
How many creatives should we start with?
Starting with a single image does not reveal which message works. Beginning with a few clearly different approaches and scaling the winner produces results faster than testing minor variations of one image.
Why is the Conversions API needed?
The browser-based pixel misses a share of events because of ad blockers and privacy settings. Server-side sending reduces that loss so optimisation runs on more accurate data.
Is boosting an organic post enough?
It works as a quick start but stays limited: an organic post is written for followers, while an ad reaches people who do not know you. The two rarely speak the same language.
Do Instagram and Facebook need separate ads?
The campaign can be built as one, but creative has to be prepared per placement: square in the feed, vertical for Stories and Reels. Forcing a single image into all of them crops key elements.
Why was my ad rejected?
The most common reasons are heavy text on the image, strong claims in sensitive categories such as health and finance, copy that refers directly to personal attributes, and a landing page that does not match the ad. The reason is stated in the account and the ad can be corrected and resubmitted.
What has to be prepared before going live?
A business manager account, set up and linked to the page, is the first requirement; advertising runs from a business asset rather than someone's personal profile. Alongside it you need the pixel installed and more than one creative in hand — a set launched with a single image leaves the system nothing to compare.
Whose Business Manager should hold the page and ad account?
Yours. The ad account, the page and the pixel are assets gathered under a Business Manager, and the business itself should own them; we are added as a partner and manage from there. When a page is set up inside an agency’s Business Manager, every later handover turns into a request process, whereas a partnership can be withdrawn in a single step.
When do results become meaningful to judge?
The system passes through a learning phase on every ad set, and figures seen before it completes tend to swing. Deciding on the basis of the first days’ ups and downs is therefore misleading. The most common thing that prolongs learning is frequent intervention: every change to budget or targeting restarts the process.
