Remarketing management

Because it speaks to an audience that already knows you, it is usually the most efficient line in the account.

Most visitors do not decide on a first visit. Remarketing catches that audience again, but following everyone with the same message is both intrusive and inefficient. The split is built on behaviour: someone who only saw the homepage is not at the same stage as someone who lingered on pricing.

Frequency capping is critical on this channel. The same ad appearing many times a day damages brand perception and lowers click-through. Audience duration matters too: spending the same budget on a visitor from last week and one from three months ago rarely makes sense.

Setup depends entirely on the soundness of the measurement layer. If the pixel or tag does not fire correctly the audiences never fill, and the campaign runs empty in silence — because nothing errors, this is usually noticed late.

Frequently asked

Is remarketing intrusive?

It becomes so without frequency capping. Limiting daily impressions and removing converted users from the audience are the two settings that prevent that perception.

How much traffic is needed?

Platforms require a minimum audience size before campaigns can run. For sites below that threshold it is better to focus first on gaining visitors and leave remarketing to a later stage.

Should buyers keep seeing ads?

Usually not for the same product; excluding converters protects the budget. A separate campaign for a complementary product or a renewal window can still make sense.
